I spent the first two years of my undergraduate career at Delaware Valley College, a small, private, agricultural college located in Doylestown, PA. While at Del Val I pursued my Bachelor of Science degree in conservation & wildlife management, but found the program was not right for me.
Starting in the fall of 2012, I transferred into Ithaca College's Environmental Science program and instantly fell in love with the program, the department, and the city of Ithaca. I graduated in May of 2014 with my Bachelor of Science in environmental Science with a concentration in the origin of the relationship(s) between people and their environment.
A few opportunities that IC gave me that will forever stick with me:
-tapping maple trees & making maple syrup
-Cultivating mushrooms
-Traveling to the Ecuadorean rainforest and staying with several different indigenous groups
-learning basic outdoor survival skills such as: Leave no trace, friction fire building, basic shelter structure, leaf identification, native edible plants
